Terms of Agreement
Mr & Mrs P Willoughby - Cordena
By booking the cottage you are bound by the Terms and Conditions below
- The Hirer is responsible for the bungalow and is required to take all reasonable care of it. The bungalow is cleaned before the Hirer's arrival and must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.
- Your booking will not be confirmed until a deposit of 25% of the rental is received. If the booking is made within 8 weeks of the start date, the full rental will be payably immediately.
- The Balance of Hire will be due for payment 8 weeks before the start date of the holiday, plus a £100 returnable deposit and the owners reserve the right to cancel a booking where full payment has not been received 8 weeks before the start date. The deposit will be retained if re-letting is not possible. Hirers are advised to take out their own insurance to cover cancellation costs due to illness.
- Cancellation. If the hirer cancels a holiday not less than eight weeks before the commencement date, the hirer will not be liable to pay the full balance of hire, although the deposit will be forfeited unless re-letting is possible. If the cancellation is notified less than 8 weeks prior to commencement date, the hirer will be liable to pay the FULL balance of hire, unless the bungalow is re-let. All cancellations should be notified immediately in writing to Mr and Mrs Willoughby. A telephone call or e-mail is also recommended to extend the time available for re-hire.
- Damage and breakages are the legal responsibility of the hirer and their costs are payable on demand. The caretaker must be notified of any damage or breakages. Accidents can happen even in careful households and replacement of breakages would be appreciated rather than cash having to be deducted from the deposit
